St’át’imc Nation has the right to govern it’s own data collection processes for longevity of our knowledge and protection of that generational data. St’át’imc knowledge should be stored, interpreted, accessed, shared, and protected by St’át’imc-led regulation and governance.

On May 15, 2026, we invite all St’át’imc members and staff to the Tśzil Learning Centre to take an active role in transforming how our collective knowledge is governed.

By participating, you are vital to:

• Influencing our path forward by engaging in Advisory Group Discussions.
• Empowering our collective voice in our journey towards St’át’imc data sovereignty
• Building our St’át’imc Nations governance, regulation, and protection of our own data.

This is a Nation project that requires St’át’imc voices to progress and develop. Together, we will create a St’át’imc database that is Owned, Shared, Accessed, and Protected (OCAP) by the collective Nation.
